Over The Coffee - Jan 2017

Happy New Year and may 2017 bring wonderful things for you. Our oldest
member, Hazel Cline will turn 100 years young this month! She lives in Delaware
County now with her sister-in-law, Vi McNamara, and fondly remembers all her years

We return for Bible study on Wednesday, January 4th, at 11:00 am. All are invited.
It may be cold outside but we will have it warm in the library for our meetings this
month.

We are planning to have a movie night on a Saturday evening this month. Date,
time, and movie to be decided. Check with secretary, Janis Snowball, or watch the
bulletin for information. Hopefully we will have cooperative weather.

Thanks to Rev. Kirk Gay for filling in for me on January 1st. It was nice to see our
two sons for Christmas, then work a few days, and take a few days of vacation to
finish out 2016. Debbie Smalley continues to get stronger at Select Specialty Hospital
and I was able to visit her and bring her a Bible this week. She appreciates our
prayers as the recovery from surgery will continue for several weeks. Others are
getting stronger at home and Dorothy Johnson is at Wesley Glen rehabbing from hip
surgery. Some are limping along into a new year, but God is with us and we remain
faithful and strong.

Enjoy the new year. Believe it or not, the days get longer each day.
